Security surveillance binocular camera lens can be used in more occasions
The security monitoring binocular camera uses the principle of bionics to obtain a synchronized exposure image through the calibrated dual camera, and then calculates the third-dimensional depth information of the acquired 2D image pixels. In order to monitor different environmental occasions, a new adaptive recognition algorithm based on binocular computer vision is proposed. The algorithm first uses the depth information of pixels to identify and judge the scene, then uses statistical methods to model the scene, and overcomes the gradual change of light through time filtering, and overcomes the sudden change of light through the characteristics of the depth algorithm. Compared with a single camera, the video surveillance principle system implemented by this algorithm can be applied to more occasions, and the depth information is used to set the alarm level to reduce the false detection rate.
What can security surveillance dual cameras do
1. Security monitoring dual cameras can do distance-related applications The human eye can perceive the distance of an object due to the difference in the images presented by the two eyes to the same object, also known as "parallax". The farther the object is, the smaller the parallax; on the contrary, the greater the parallax. The size of the parallax corresponds to the distance between the object and the eyes, which is why 3D movies can make people have stereoscopic perception
2. The principle of security monitoring binocular camera
The human eye is very easy to locate the distance of an object, but when a person closes one of the eyes, the positioning ability will drop a lot. The dual camera is an application that simulates the human eye. Simply put, when measuring the distance, it is calculated by an algorithm. The angle θ1 and θ2 of the object to be photographed and the left/right camera, plus a fixed y value (that is, the center distance between the two cameras), it is very easy to calculate the z value (That is, the distance from the object to the camera).
But this is also easy to calculate. If the distance between the centers of the two cameras is too small, the calculable object distance will be very close. If you want to calculate a long distance, you must make the distance between the left and right cameras farther. The binocular detection method of security monitoring is to directly measure the distance of the front scene (the range captured by the image) by calculating the parallax of the two images, without judging what type of obstacles appear in the front. Therefore, for any type of obstacle, necessary early warning or braking can be carried out according to the change of distance information.
3. Difficulties of security monitoring binocular cameras
One difficulty of the binocular system is that the amount of calculation is very large, and the performance requirements of the computing unit are very high, which makes the productization and miniaturization of the binocular system more difficult. Therefore, it is more difficult to solve the dual purpose calculation problem on the chip or FPGA. Most of the international research institutions or manufacturers that use binoculars use servers for image processing and calculation; some have simplified the algorithm and then use FPGA for processing.
